ELITE YOUTH HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT

New England’s top program for youth hockey that builds skill, character, and confidence

Connecticut GC Youth Hockey is different.
Really different.

We offer triple the ice time, a consistent local schedule that means more development and less strain on your family, and a coaching system inspired by world-class models used across Sweden, Russia, and Canada.

It’s a proven approach that helps young athletes thrive—on and off the ice, and it’s right in your backyard.

SMARTER SCHEDULE, STRONGER PLAYERS

better hockey experience  for kids—and parents.

3x more ice time

Your player will get up to three times the practice time of most youth programs—6–8 hours a week, adding up to over 170 hours a year. We are about development. That’s how real progress happens.

Less travel, more life

Would you rather your athlete touch pucks or a seatbelt? At Connecticut GC, you’ll only travel between two local rinks all season. Games are meaningful, practices are consistent, and your family gets to have a life outside the rink. We hit the road for tournaments, but our goal is to keep things close to home.

Built to develop great players

The culture of youth hockey pushes more games, more travel, more pressure, more tryouts and this leads to more burnout. Connecticut GC offers something better. Real, deliberate development offered by high-calibre coaches. If your child’s goal is high school, prep, college, or even pro hockey—they’ll need more than just two practices and weekend games.. Our model delivers elite development through more ice time, proven coaching, and consistent local schedules—so kids improve faster, love the game longer, and families stay in it together.

Here’s what people are saying about our program:

“I wish we had made the decision sooner to put our son into this kind of a development model. This approach works.”

— Rob Zamuner, Toronto, 798 NHL Games played, Canadian Olympic Team

“Youth hockey can be done better. The Ferroni model can help. That is why I put my son into his program and actively advocate for programs like the Connecticut GC. It is simple math. How long is your child on the ice? How many shots do they take? How long is the puck on their stick? The beauty about this model is that the kids see themselves getting better each day and each week and that’s what motivates them.”

— Mathieu Schneider, Toronto, 1298 NHL Games played, US Olympic Team

“The skill level I have seen from kids that have been exposed to Rick’s model is unbelievable. There were 10-year-olds doing things I couldn’t do.”

BJ Crombeen, Toronto, 445 NHL Games Played
